Morning Checklist
Start-of-day tasks to prepare for guest arrivals and ensure smooth operations.
Daily Preparation
Complete these tasks at the start of each shift.
Time Required: 10-15 minutes
Step 1: Check System Status
- Log in to AVA Streamliner
- Look at the top-right corner for status icons:
- ✅ Green = All systems connected
- ⚠️ Yellow = Check connection
- ❌ Red = System offline
If you see yellow or red, check the Troubleshooting Guide.
Step 2: Review Today's Arrivals
- Go to Operations View → Check-ins
- Filter by Today's Arrivals
- Count expected arrivals
- Note any VIP guests (marked with a star ⭐)
Things to Check
For each arrival, verify:
- Room is assigned
- Room status is "Ready" or "Clean"
- Special requests are noted
Step 3: Check Room Status
- Go to Housekeeping page
- Review room statuses:
- 🟢 Clean/Ready
- 🟡 Needs cleaning
- 🔴 Maintenance needed
Priority Rooms
Focus on rooms for:
- Early check-ins (guests arriving before standard time)
- VIP guests
- Extended stays checking out today
Step 4: Review Departures
- Go to Operations View → Check-outs
- Note rooms that should be vacated
- Flag any late checkouts
This helps housekeeping prioritize.
Step 5: Check Pending Tasks
Look for:
- Unfinished check-ins from yesterday
- Guest requests needing action
- Maintenance issues reported
