Set Up Pegasus Legacy POS Integration
Most hotels can connect Pegasus Legacy in about 5 minutes. You only need the API host and an alert email list.
This guide helps you connect Pegasus Legacy from Settings → Integration and use it in catalogue POS fields.

Before You Start
- Confirm your hotel has Pegasus Legacy POS credentials.
- Confirm you can open Settings → Integration.
- Gather the API host and error alert email addresses.
- If you use catalogue ordering, know the outlet code you want to map.
Connect Pegasus Legacy
- Go to Settings → Integration.
- In PMS Integrations, find Pegasus Legacy.
- Click Connect or Edit.
- Turn on Enable POS.
- Enter the API Host.
- Add one or more addresses in Email Address for Error Alert.
- Press
Tabafter each email address. - Click Save.
✓ The card should show Connected after the save finishes.
Disconnect Pegasus Legacy
- Open Settings → Integration.
- Open the Pegasus Legacy card.
- Click Disconnect.
- Confirm the connection is removed if prompted.
✓ The card should return to Connect.
Use Pegasus Legacy In Catalogues
- Open the catalogue settings page.
- Connect and enable Pegasus Legacy first.
- Return to catalogue configuration.
- Find the Pegasus Outlet Code section.
- Enter the outlet code.
- Fill Default Item ID if your menu uses a default dish mapping.
- Fill Print Area if your POS setup needs a print destination.
- Save the catalogue settings.
AVA shows the same catalogue outlet fields when either Pegasus or Pegasus Legacy is active and registered. If the section is missing, reconnect the POS integration and refresh the catalogue page.
Troubleshooting
Pegasus Legacy Does Not Appear
What you see: The Pegasus Legacy card is missing from Settings → Integration.
Fix:
- Refresh the page.
- Confirm you have settings access for the hotel.
- Ask an admin to check the POS integration feature is enabled.
- Reopen Settings → Integration.
Catalogue POS Fields Do Not Appear
What you see: The catalogue page shows no Pegasus outlet section.
Fix:
- Go to Settings → Integration.
- Confirm Pegasus Legacy is saved and shows Connected.
- Confirm Enable POS is on.
- Return to the catalogue page and refresh it once.
Error Emails Are Not Saving
What you see: The email list is empty after you save.
Fix:
- Enter each email address separately.
- Press
Tabafter each address. - Check for typing errors in the address.
- Save again.
