Store your guest WiFi network name and password. This information automatically appears on check-in confirmations, welcome emails, and room cards so guests can easily connect to your hotel's internet.

Before You Start​

Get this information from your IT team:

  • Guest WiFi network name (SSID)
  • Guest WiFi password
  • Confirm these are for guests, not staff networks

Configuration Steps​

Step 1: Enter WiFi Network Name​

  • Type your guest network name exactly as it appears
  • Example: "HotelGuest" or "Resort_WiFi"
  • Case-sensitive (guests need to match this exactly)
  • Maximum 32 characters

Step 2: Enter WiFi Password​

  • Type the guest WiFi password
  • Case-sensitive (exact match required)
  • Include special characters if used
  • Example: "Welcome2024!"

Step 3: Verify and Save​

  1. Double-check both fields for accuracy
  2. Test on your phone if possible
  3. Click Save
  4. Wait for "Settings saved successfully"

Where Guests See This Information​

After saving, WiFi details appear on:

  • βœ… Check-in confirmation screen
  • βœ… Welcome email (if enabled)
  • βœ… Printed room cards
  • βœ… Mobile check-in confirmation
  • βœ… Guest portal

Guest & Staff Impact​

  • Guests see: WiFi name and password on the room card once check-in is completed.
  • Staff see: Fewer β€œwhat’s the WiFi?” questions at the front desk.

Helpful behaviors

  • Room-specific WiFi: If your WiFi name or password changes by room, include {{roomNo}} in the value. Guests will see the actual room number (e.g., HotelWiFi-101).
  • Visibility rule: The WiFi section only appears when both Name and Password are filled in.

Guests Can't Connect​

  1. Double-check exact spelling and capitalization
  2. Verify network is broadcasting

  1. Verify no extra spaces
  2. Check caps lock isn't on
  3. Try copy-paste instead of typing
  4. Confirm special characters are correct

Network Name Not Visible​

  1. Confirm network is broadcasting SSID

Old WiFi Details Still Showing​

  1. Confirm you clicked Save
  2. Refresh the page
