Configure backup contact methods for guests who encounter issues during the self check-in process.

Guest & Staff Impact

  • Guests: Always have a clear way to reach staff if they get stuck.
  • Staff: Fewer abandoned check-ins because guests can request help quickly.

Enable Fallback Options

Toggle this switch to ON to provide guests with a way to contact propery staff if they get stuck.

Fallback Methods

1. Phone Call

Allows the guest to call a designated help number directly from the app.

  • Phone Number: Enter the full international number (e.g., +6591234567).
  • Validation: Field checks for valid characters (digits, +, -, spaces).
  • Guest View: A "Call for Help" or similar button will appear on error screens, dialing this number when tapped.

2. Email Notification (Coming Soon)

This feature is currently under development.

  • Status: You may see this option in the settings, but it is currently disabled or marked as "Coming Soon".
  • Future Functionality: Will allow guests to trigger an email alert to the hotel staff.

Best Practices

  • Always Enable: We highly recommend enabling the Phone Call fallback. Technology can be unpredictable (network issues, hardware faults), and providing a human connection reduces guest frustration.
  • 24/7 Number: Ensure the phone number provided is monitored during all potential check-in hours.
