Locker Collection

Customize the instructions shown to guests when they are assigned a locker for key collection.

Guest & Staff Impact

  • Guests: Clear locker instructions reduce failed attempts and speed up key pickup.
  • Staff: Fewer manual interventions because guests can retrieve keys without assistance.

Configuration Fields

Main Message

The primary instruction for the guest.

  • Default: "Collect your room key from the locker"
  • Purpose: Directs the guest to the locker bank.
  • Multilingual: Supports translations for all enabled languages.

Secondary Message

Detailed instructions on how to access the specific locker compartment.

  • Default: "Use the lock code to open the locker compartment to collect your key"
  • Purpose: Explains the mechanism (e.g., entering a PIN code).
  • Multilingual: Supports translations for all enabled languages.

Other Instructions

Additional notes, if any.

  • Default: "Leave blank"
  • Note: The system automatically displays the Locker Number and PIN Code generated by the backend, so you typically do not need to add dynamic variables here. Use this field only for static instructions (e.g., "Lockers are located near the elevator").

When Is This Shown?

These messages appear during key collection only if the room access method is set to "Locker" and a valid locker grid/compartment has been assigned to the reservation.
