Getting Your Keycard

This page explains how guests get a room keycard from the kiosk after self check-in.

How do I get my keycard after check-in?

  1. On the Room Information screen, tap Create Keycard.
  2. Place a blank keycard on the encoder next to the kiosk, as shown on screen.
  3. Wait until you see "Card 1 Successfully Encoded".
  4. To make another card, tap Create Keycard again with a new blank card.

If your card was already made, the screen shows Already Encoded.

Keycard encoding failed

The kiosk shows "Failed to encode keycard". Keep the card flat on the encoder and tap Try Again.

If the kiosk says the encoder is busy with another card, wait a moment, then tap Try Again. If the kiosk says the encoder is offline, go to the front desk for your keycard.

The kiosk says my room is not mapped to a lock

The kiosk cannot make a keycard for this room. Go to the front desk to collect your keycard.

The kiosk says my room may have changed

Your room was changed while your keycard was being made. Note the room number shown on screen and follow the instructions. Ask the front desk if you are unsure which room is yours.

My keycard does not open the door

  1. Check that you are at the room number shown on your room card.
  2. Hold the card flat against the door reader and try once more.

If it still does not open, go to the front desk.
