Search and Sort the Housekeeping List
Quick Find
Search by room number first. Then sort by Room Status or Condition. This takes under 1 minute.
This guide helps you find rooms quickly in Housekeeping.

Use search

Go to Housekeeping.

Type a room number, room type, or guest name in Search.
✓ The list updates as you type.
Sort the list

Click a column header like Room, Type, or Room Status.

Click it again to reverse the order.
✓ The arrow shows the current sort direction.
Use mobile filters

On mobile, tap a filter chip like Dirty or Vacant.

Tap Clear all to reset filters.
✓ Only matching rooms stay visible.
Sorting does not save a custom order
The list order is view-only. It resets after a refresh.
Troubleshooting
Sorting looks unchanged
What you see: The arrow changes, but rooms look the same.
Fix:
- Clear Search.
- Click the same header again to flip the sort direction.
Search returns no rooms
What you see: Empty list after searching.
Fix:
- Remove extra characters like
#or-. - Try a shorter room number.
