Set Up Vouch AVA Alarm

Quick Setup

If your device is ready, this usually takes about 10 minutes.

This guide helps you connect Vouch AVA Alarm to incoming video calls for your property. Open it from Settings → Communications → Video Call → Alarm Devices. The old Night Shift → Alarm page now opens this tab. The setup now starts with Android and iOS store install cards. Each card opens a QR modal with the store page and a direct link button. If your property has custom store links, the modal uses those first. Otherwise, it falls back to the public Play Store and App Store pages. If you manage several hotels, use Night Shift → Overview to activate one or more alarm codes across them. You can add or rename an optional Device name for each alarm link. The same code can show a different name in each merchant. Vouch AVA Alarm works on Android and iOS devices.

Important

Vouch AVA Alarm only triggers for incoming video calls. It does not replace browser push notifications.

iOS background delivery

On iPhone and iPad, alarm triggers use background APNs delivery. That lets the device alert even when the app is backgrounded or closed.

Call state sync

When a call is answered, cancelled, rejected, or ended, the paired alarm device updates right away. That keeps the alert state in sync so the device can stop ringing or dismiss the notification correctly.

Multi-hotel setups

Use Night Shift → Overview when you need one or more existing alarm codes across several hotels. That flow keeps the linked codes and lets you test one registered linked alarm. When you activate Vouch AVA Alarm there, Streamliner also enables the hotel-level integration. When you deactivate a hotel with its recorded alarm code, Streamliner turns that integration off.

Staff schedules

If you use staff shift routing, assign alarm devices to each on-duty staff member. That keeps routed calls focused on the people working that shift.
