TTLock Setup

Quick Setup

Connect your TTLock account, then run a test PIN. Plan about 10 minutes.

This guide helps you connect AVA to TTLock smart locks.

Where to find it

Settings → Room Access → Smart Lock Vendor → TTLock

Before you start

  • TTLock locks are installed on guest rooms
  • You have a TTLock hotel or developer account
  • Locks are visible in the TTLock app

Step 1: Select smart lock method

  1. Go to Settings → Room Access.
  2. Select Smart Lock (PIN) as the room access method.
  3. Click Save.

Step 2: Choose TTLock vendor

  1. In Smart Lock Vendor, select TTLock.
  2. Confirm the TTLock settings appear.

Step 3: Configure PIN settings

  1. Set PIN Code Expiration Time (default: 11:00 AM).
  2. Select Random Custom PIN Length (4–8 digits).

Step 4: Connect your TTLock account

  1. Scroll to TTLock Integration.

  2. Enter your TTLock Username and TTLock Password.

  3. Click Connect TTLock Account.

    ✓ You see a green checkmark and "TTLock Account Linked".

Step 5: Test a PIN

  1. Go to Smart Lock Setup.

  2. Select a room and click Test PIN Generation.

    ✓ A test PIN appears within 10 seconds.

Troubleshooting

"Account Not Linked" warning

What you see: A red status icon after saving credentials.

Fix:

  1. Re-enter your TTLock username and password.
  2. Confirm the account is active in the TTLock app.
  3. Click Connect TTLock Account again.

"Connection Failed" error

What you see: Connection error message.

Fix:

  1. Check your username and password (case-sensitive).
  2. Reset your TTLock password if needed.
  3. Try again after 30 seconds.

PINs not generating

What you see: PIN generation fails for rooms.

Fix:

  1. Confirm the account is linked.
  2. Verify locks are online in TTLock.
  3. Check room-to-lock mapping in AVA.

Security considerations

TTLock credentials

AVA stores your TTLock credentials to generate PINs. Use a dedicated TTLock account if possible.
