Multi-Property Setup
Manage multiple hotels from a single AVA Streamliner account.
When to Use This
Use multi-property setup if you:
- Manage more than one hotel
- Need staff to work across hotels
- Want centralized account and permission management
Time Required: 15-20 minutes per hotel (after it is created)
Requirements
- V4 authentication is required for hotel switching.
- To manage access across hotels, you need organization context permissions.
Step 1: Create a New Hotel (Superadmin only)
If you are a superadmin:
- Go to Superadmin → Hotels.
- Click Add Hotel.
- Enter Hotel Name, Hotel Code, Country, and Timezone.
- Click Create Hotel.
If you are not a superadmin, ask your Vouch admin to create the hotel for you.
Step 2: Configure the New Hotel
After creation, switch into the hotel and set up:
- PMS Connection - See PMS Connection Guide
- Room Access - See Room Access Options
- Check-In Settings - Configure in Settings → Check-In
Each hotel has its own settings. Changes to one don’t affect others.
Step 3: Switch Between Hotels
- Use the Hotel Switcher in the top-left of the sidebar.
- Search and select a hotel (or organization) from the list.
- The app refreshes with that hotel’s data.
Note: The switcher appears when you have more than one hotel, or when you have organization access for a single hotel.
Staff Access Across Hotels (Organization context)
To give staff access to multiple hotels:
- Switch to your Organization context using the Hotel Switcher.
- Open Account Management from the left sidebar.
- Select the staff member and click Manage Permissions.
- Assign Organization access (all hotels) or add Hotel access entries with roles.
- Click Save.
To restrict staff to a single hotel, assign only one hotel in their access list.
Reports Across Hotels
Reports are scoped to the current hotel. To view another hotel’s data:
- Switch to that hotel using the Hotel Switcher.
- Run the report again.
Things to Know
Separate Settings
Each hotel has separate:
- PMS connections
- Room configuration
- Check-in rules
- Guest data
Shared Access
These are shared across hotels:
- Staff accounts (with organization or multi-hotel access)
- Your login credentials (context controls what you see)
Troubleshooting
I can’t see the hotel switcher
- You may only have direct access to one hotel.
- Your account may not be on V4 authentication.
- You might lack organization access for your hotel.
Ask your admin to grant organization access or confirm V4 auth is enabled.
I can’t switch to another hotel
- Ensure you have access to that hotel in Account Management.
- If access still fails, contact support.
Wrong hotel data is showing
- Check the current hotel name in the switcher and switch again if needed.
