Check-Out

Use the Check-outs view to process departures and turn rooms over for housekeeping.

Where to find it

Open the Operations view and select the Check-outs tab.

Check out a guest

  1. Find the reservation by guest name or room number.
  2. Review any notes or balance concerns.
  3. Click Check Out.
  4. Confirm the checkout.

What happens after checkout

  • The room moves to a cleaning status.
  • Housekeeping can begin room turnover.
  • Access codes are disabled if smart locks are enabled.

Early checkout

If a guest leaves early, complete checkout and follow your PMS rules if required.

If checkout is blocked

Some hotels require PMS processing for early or special cases. Complete the PMS checkout first, then return to Streamliner.
