Connect WhatsApp Business Account

Quick Setup

Most hotels connect in about 5 minutes.

This guide helps you connect your WhatsApp Business account so guest messaging can start.

Go to: Settings → Communications → WhatsApp → Setup

Connect WhatsApp

  1. Go to Settings → Communications → WhatsApp → Setup.

  2. Click Connect WhatsApp Account.

  3. Complete the Facebook window steps.

  4. Return to Streamliner.

    ✓ Status shows WhatsApp Connected.

Optional: Disconnect WhatsApp

Disconnecting stops WhatsApp messages

Guests will no longer receive WhatsApp messages after you disconnect.

  1. In WhatsApp Connection, click Disconnect WhatsApp Account.

  2. Confirm the disconnect prompt.

    ✓ Status shows WhatsApp not connected yet.

Troubleshooting

Connect button shows "Loading Facebook SDK..."

What you see: The button shows "Loading Facebook SDK..." and stays disabled.

Fix:

  1. Wait 30 seconds.
  2. Refresh the page.
  3. Click Connect WhatsApp Account again.

Status stays not connected

What you see: "WhatsApp not connected yet." after you connect.

Fix:

  1. Refresh the page.
  2. Try the connect flow again.

Disconnect button does nothing

What you see: Clicking Disconnect WhatsApp Account has no effect.

Fix:

  1. Confirm you have access to WhatsApp setup.
  2. Ask an admin to retry the disconnect.

Still Stuck?

  • ❌ You cannot complete the connect flow
  • ❌ Status does not update after refresh
  • ❌ Disconnect fails more than twice
