Check-In

Use the Check-ins view to process arrivals, assign rooms, and complete guest check-in.

Where to find it

Open the Operations view and select the Check-ins tab.

Daily workflow

  1. Review today's arrivals.
  2. Assign rooms for reservations that are unassigned.
  3. Confirm room readiness with housekeeping when needed.
  4. Check guests in as they arrive.

Check in a guest

  1. Find the reservation (search by name or confirmation number).
  2. Confirm room assignment and dates.
  3. Click Check In.
  4. Review the details and confirm.
  5. Provide room access details to the guest.

Assign a room

If the reservation is unassigned:

  1. Click Auto Assign if available.
  2. Confirm the room is clean and ready.
  3. Proceed with check-in.

Early arrivals

  • If the room is ready, check the guest in normally.
  • If the room is not ready, coordinate with housekeeping and set expectations.

Walk-ins

Create the reservation in your PMS first, then refresh the Check-ins view to process it.
